The XCMG XPT80E is a fully electric terminal tractor designed specifically for use in ports, logistics terminals and container handling sites. With a powerful 200 kW permanent magnet electric motor (310 kW peak power) and a robust 289 kWh BYD LFP battery, it combines high tractive effort with emission-free propulsion.
The electric drive makes this terminal tractor ideal for companies aiming for CO₂ reduction, low-noise operation and low operating costs. Thanks to dual-gun DC fast charging, the XPT80E is fully operational again within about 60 minutes, minimising downtime and maximising uptime.
With a maximum train weight of 75,000 kg, a saddle lift height of 470 mm and a travel speed of up to 40 km/h, the XPT80E offers excellent performance in dynamic transfer environments. The drive axle is equipped with drum brakes and the chassis is optimised for stability and safety under heavy loads.
